THE ELECTRAFI POAP
POAP stands for 'Proof of Attendance Protocol'.
POAPs are digital mementos that anyone can collect to celebrate a meaningful experience, and are commonly used for conference attendance. POAPs are unique digital collectibles (NFTs) that can be saved in a digital wallet that is connected to your decentralised digital identity on the blockchain.
This is a fun easy way to experience owning a digital asset hands-on!
To keep the onboarding simple without any crypto involved for first-timers, we will have Steve McFadyen from HODL labs showing attendees how to download the POAP app from Google or App and claim their POAP. You can claim it in one of three ways, depending on how experienced you feel!
MOST EASY - with an email address
EASY - with Steve’s ‘no-coiner’ method. He gives you yourname.onpoap.eth as a wallet address
THE WEB3 WAY - using a digital wallet like Metamask or Rainbow, for example, with your Ethereum wallet address or ENS domain name, like Electra has below. You can see her POAPs here.
